About the Role
This position commences providing administrative support to planning functions before progressing into a Development Planning Specialist role, primarily responsible for assessing development applications and offering advice on planning-related matters.
Key Requirements:
* Eligible and willing to pursue tertiary study leading to qualifications in urban planning.
* A valid Class C driver's license.
* Customer service skills.
* Administrative capabilities – data entry, record management, touch typing, correspondence preparation.
* Maintaining databases and registers.
* Developing verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
* Interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
