* Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Negotiation and Contracting: Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.
* Specialized Contracts: Oversee contracts related to road and sea freight, the transportation of hazardous materials and industrial gases, and the delivery of materials for new plant construction projects. In addition to a broader business category focus.
* Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor supplier performance, optimize costs, and forecast future sourcing needs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including operations, finance, and engineering, to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements:
* Proven skills in sourcing or procurement to hit the ground running and be able to work autonomously and bring a focus on continuous improvement.
* Previous experience developing sourcing strategies and working with suppliers in transportation and logistics is key.
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field would be beneficial.
