Role
As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the technical delivery of our civil projects supporting the Project Manager and Foreman. Your responsibilities include coordinating daily site operations, managing quality, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with specifications.
This role is perfect for someone who wants genuine progression, hands‑on experience, and exposure to the full lifecycle of construction delivery.
Responsibilities
* Manage 3‑week look‑ahead programmes, resource planning, productivity tracking and procurement schedules.
* Support commercial delivery through procurement, variations, subcontract agreements, cost tracking and certifications.
* Build strong client relationships by attending meetings, communicating updates and ensuring expectations are met.
* Lead safety on‑site through toolboxes, SWMS development, high‑risk planning, audits, safety walks and IPMP documentation.
* Oversee quality assurance including ITPs, inspections, NCR management, surveying, RFIs and drawing control.
* Continuously build technical capability by reviewing standards, understanding specifications and applying method statements.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* Experience delivering civil or infrastructure projects.
* Strong organisational and planning skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
* Solid understanding of construction methods, standards and regulations.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction‑related software.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
* A proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.
