About The Role
The CAFHS Nurse/Midwifery Manager provides operational and clinical leadership, overseeing services to deliver safe, high-quality care. The role integrates evidence-based practice with expert nursing care to coordinate services, manage risk, support staff, and improve patient outcomes.
Key duties of the role
Integrate corporate management activities and local service coordination
Provide direct, expert clinical nursing care
Contribute expert nursing assessment and advice to teams to achieve integrated care
Contribute to the development and monitoring of corporate policies and processes
Maintain productive working relationships and manage conflict resolution
Skills And Experience
Registered Nurse and/or Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience
Demonstrated experience in management and leadership roles
Demonstrated experience in coordinating services within a paediatric and/or community setting
Demonstrated ability in the leadership and facilitation of change management
Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential
