We are currently seeking committed, experienced female Support Professionals who are full of enthusiasm & beaming with energy, who are exceptional communicators, willing to go the extra mile, have a great understanding of individual supports, who love going on adventures and are passionate in providing dignified support care
This role provides rostered shifts that ensure stability and the opportunity to provide genuine impact with our clients. We are currently looking for Support Professionals to assist with Positive Behaviour Support with our participant in Jimboomba, Mundoolan and Loda Area.
Role Description
* Assist to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full life;
* Support with healthy mealtime management and regular exercise, performing daily activities, laundry etc.
* Assisting with maintaining household;
* Providing social support in the community for appointments or general activities;
* Assist with physical and psycho-social disabilities to remain independent in their own home;
* Commitment to following detailed behaviour support plans
* Support to develop and build self-confidence;
* Reviewing and updating care support plans.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* Current QLD Driver's License
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Current Yellow Card/NDIS Workers Screening Check
* Compulsory Comprehensive Insurance on private vehicle
* NDIS Orientation Certificate or ability to obtain.
* Complex Behaviour Experience
* Mental Health Experience
* Exceptional Professional Boundaries
* Healthy individual due to exercise requirements for our participant
Desirable
* Certificate III in Individual Support Disability/Aged Care or related studies (or willing to undertake)
* Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS system.
* Sound experience in the disability or allied health/welfare/education fields.
* Maybo training or equivalent
