Technical Production Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Technical Production Coordinator. The role serves as the primary liaison between engineering and the shop floor, overseeing the end-to-end execution and documentation of train modifications.
Responsibilities
* Convert engineering specifications into actionable work instructions and manage associated material flow to ensure components are staged and ready for the assembly team.
* Accurately track assembler labour hours and maintain detailed build records to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
* Provide direct support to the Manufacturing Manager in optimizing assembly line processes, supporting the implementation of efficiency improvements.
* Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and the shop floor, overseeing the end-to-end execution and documentation of train modifications.
Qualifications & Skills
* Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* Software Proficiency: Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel for data and labour tracking.
* Communication: Ability to explain complex technical tasks to assemblers and provide concise data reports to management.
* Soft Skills: Hybrid mindset, comfortable moving between desk and shop floor; attention to detail; problem solving (provides three potential solutions to any problem).
Desired Qualifications and Skills
* A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting (Rail, Aerospace, or Automotive preferred).
