Key Responsibilities
* A key objective is to achieve and exceed the revenuetargets, in both sales and gross profit, as set up the Head of Commercial. This is done through the continual drive tosecure new opportunities; the development of robust sales plans; the growth ofsales to existing clients; and the development and maintenance of strong,trusted relationships with customers.
* Endeavour to attain andincrease the sales targets, with preserved GP in the allocated territory;
* Actively research and look fornew account customers
* Strategically plan and priorarrange F2F sales calls;
* Build and maintainrelationships with key accounts;
* Undertake regular site visitsand inspections;
* Attend project toolbox meetingson site;
* Pitch and win new projects withcontractors;
* System selling to builders – tosupport contractor engagement;
* CPD (continuing professionaldevelopment) presentations with architects
* Continue to advance in productand industry knowledge in view of providing technical support to customers;
* Management of a specificproduct groups (as directed) to be a field expert on quality issues, marketintelligence, and to take responsibility for the overall sales growth of theproduct groups;
* Attend and support at tradeexhibitions when required;
* Be acquainted with, and use tothe full advantage, Phocas and other selling software to analyse target salesopportunities;
* Gain knowledge and of markettrends, opposition pricing, new product opportunities, etc, in view ofacquainting management with market intelligence;
* Be acquainted with, and use tothe full advantage all relevant business software programs used by the company;
* Participate with training and educationalprograms/courses as required and document and implement the benefits.
