Leadership Opportunity in a Dynamic Health Environment
We are seeking a skilled Manager to provide leadership and coordination for our Centre's staff and activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing the Centre as a substantive health initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee management of programs consistent with strategic objectives
* Coordinate and present budget and sustainable funding strategy to stakeholders
* Assist individual workstreams with human and other resources, infrastructure planning
* Ensure ongoing brand development and communications
Requirements:
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Management, Administration)
* Significant leadership experience in the health sector
* Commercial business management experience, preferably in health or education settings
* Proven success in establishing or expanding large-scale programs of work or multi-partner research/academic initiatives
* Solid understanding of accountancy principles and budgetary practices within public health environments
* Demonstrated expertise in project and program management
* Exceptional organisational skills, ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, deliver on multiple competing work agendas
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing multi-disciplinary teams, high levels of independence, judgement, initiative
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, understanding of confidentiality, privacy, information handling standards
* Highly developed relationship management skills, ability to interact with, influence, negotiate at senior levels
