* Proven ability to manage complex legal matters independently and provide practical, defensible solutions
* Familiarity with government law frameworks and ethical obligations in a public service environment
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an ability to distil complex legal language
* Collaborative team player with the ability to mentor others and foster a knowledge-sharing culture
* High-level research and analytical skills with a focus on continuous legal education
* Must possess valid Australian working rights - Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship or appropriate long-term visa is required; sponsorship is not available
