Overview
Rex is seeking dedicated full-time flight attendants based in Wagga Wagga. It includes working on weekends, public holidays, and shift work, which involves early starts, late finishes, and occasional nights spent away from home.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
* Provide caring and personalized service while traveling to various destinations in Australia.
* Perform in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
* Conduct equipment and security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food and beverage service, and cleaning duties.
* Handle various cabin situations as needed.
Requirements
* Be 18 years of age or older.
* Demonstrate either: completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall band score of 5.5.
* Be passionate about the role with a commitment to delivering exceptional and consistent customer service.
* Flexible and adaptable; working hours will vary and include holiday times and peak periods.
* High level of personal presentation and a genuine willingness to please and care for people.
* Height not taller than 173 cm.
* Able to swim fully clothed without aid or a floating device (a swim assessment is required).
* Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
* Able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security check.
* Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
