About The Role

At SunRice, we're looking for a seasoned Trade Marketing Manager to shape how we show up, win and grow across our Ethnic Retail and Traditional Foodservice channels. Based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office, this role will see you design and deliver high‐impact, demand‐driving activations that make a real difference in market. Working closely with Sales, Marketing and our distribution partners, you'll bring best‐in‐class trade marketing to life – shifting the dial from sell‐in to sell‐out and unlocking growth opportunities across ANZ.

This role can be based at our Sydney or Melbourne Office locations.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

* Designing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive demand across Ethnic Retail and Traditional Foodservice channels
* Building and delivering annual activation plans, aligned with Sales, Brand and distributor partners
* Creating and implementing impactful in‐store and online activation programs
* Developing fit‐for‐purpose promotional mechanics that are measurable, auditable and drive sell‐out growth
* Managing the trade marketing budget to maximise commercial return
* Rolling out activity calendars and go‐to‐market tools for distributors and customers
* Developing POS, merchandising and trade collateral to strengthen in‐store execution and visibility
* Using data and insights (CRM, retail and third‐party sources) to evaluate performance and optimise future activity
* Building strong, trusted relationships with distributors and retail partners to drive execution
* Coordinating trade shows and supporting key customer engagement opportunities
* Partnering cross‐functionally to support NPD launches, priority products and eCommerce activation

About You

You're a hands‐on trade marketing professional who knows what great looks like in market – and how to deliver it. You bring clarity, structure and momentum, and take pride in seeing plans come to life where it matters most: with customers. A natural collaborator and communicator, you build strong relationships and influence with ease. You're just as comfortable shaping strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to make it happen.

You Will Bring

* Proven experience in trade marketing within FMCG, ideally across ethnic retail, traditional retail or foodservice channels
* A track record of designing and delivering effective demand‐driving activations and in‐market execution
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive ROI‐focused decisions
* Experience working with distributors and indirect route‐to‐market models
* Confidence using data to generate insights and optimise performance
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across teams and partners
* Strong project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A proactive, ownership‐driven mindset with a bias for action
