We are seeking someone with paint or panel experience, who is a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Panel Beater/Spray Painter. As an apprentice, you will learn the essential skills and techniques required to repair and restore vehicle bodies to their original condition. This hands-on role involves working with a variety of tools and materials under the guidance of experienced panel beaters.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the repair and replacement of vehicle panels and components.
- Learn to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming.
- Follow instructions and guidelines from senior panel beaters and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in automotive repair and restoration.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Vocational training in automotive repair or a related field (if applicable).
- Previous experience in auto body repair or a relevant internship.
