**A Diverse and Inclusive Team**

**The Position**
The Regional Manager - International Relations and Partnerships - STEMM leads the development of international relationships for South Asia, with a particularly strong focus on countries in the southeast Asian region, including but not limited to Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia.

The position delivers on strategic international objectives of three ANU Colleges - College of Science, College of Health & Medicine, College of Engineering, Computing & Cybernetics - spanning research and education activities across STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Medicine) disciplines.

The role develops and strengthens international network and partnerships, and positions the Colleges as a preferred knowledge and research partner in the assigned geographical region.

It is responsible for developing and executing the Colleges' international institutional engagement plans by developing and coordinating collaborative academic and research programs, building & delivering strategic international engagement projects, developing short - and long - term mobility programs (inbound and outbound), managing international institutional agreements, and coordinating international visits/delegations.

The position works closely and collaboratively with senior leadership, Research Schools, and other academic and administrative stakeholders across the three Colleges.

The ANU College of Science encompasses the disciplines of: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environment and Society, Mathematics, Physics, and Science Communication and is also home to a number of cross-disciplinary and specialist Institutes and Centres.

Staff and students within the ANU College of Science conduct research and deliver a research-led education program that encompasses the breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and by world-class facilities.

The College has a strong tradition of research excellence that has fostered distinguished Nobel Laureates and Kyoto Prize winners and that trains scientific leaders in disciplines in which the ANU is consistently ranked in the top twenty in the world.

The College of Engineering, Computing & Cybernetics brings together expertise in social, technical, computational, ecological and scientific systems to build a new approach to systems design and build new national capabilities in data-driven policy and business development.

It is a vibrant and diverse community comprising disciplines of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics - three of the key disciplines necessary to help us design, build, regulate and secure the future.

The College of Health & Medicine comprises the disciplines of Medical Research, Epidemiology & Population Health, Medicine & Psychology, and these disciplines work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.

The College has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world.

This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy.
