The role involves working within secure residential units, providing supervision and care to young people, as well as responding to challenging situations. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the young people and staff within the centre.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working with young people and have a strong commitment to supporting their needs. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide supervision and care to young people within secure residential units
* Respond to challenging situations and maintain a safe and secure environment
* Work effectively in a team environment to support the needs of young people
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Citizenship or residency requirements
* Possession of a minimum Provisional 2 NSW driver's licence
* National Background Police Check
* NSW Working with Children Check Clearance
* Possession or willingness to obtain the 'Provide First Aid Certificate' (HLTAID011)
