Our products include circuit protection, automation, switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.


Job Description

We are looking for a talented Application Engineer to work with the sales team to select and engineer products and solutions tailored to customer needs for the CPC business.


Key Duties:

* Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical support to ensure optimal performance of EATON AU's components, systems, and third-party products (internal and external).
* Sales Support: Be the go-to for the power distribution sales team when they require sales support, technical support, proposal support.
* Product Development: Develop technical & commercial solutions based on customer requirements using Eaton and selected third party products.
* Relationship Building: Build relationships with product managers and the sales team to bridge products solutions and market requirements.
* Innovation Champion: Provide input for new product development and champion innovation initiatives.
* Product Feedback: Provide product feedback to the product managers for material development and improvement, supporting domestic and international vendors.
* Presentation Skills: Deliver presentations on Eaton's solutions to external and internal stakeholders.
* Training Expertise: Train internally and externally to optimize Eaton's value proposition in front of and within the customers' organization.


Requirements:

* Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an application or design engineer preferably in power distribution (low or medium voltage). Also open to candidates from critical power (UPS, Battery, Security Infrastructure).
* Qualifications: Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
* Industry Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and industry practices.
* Lifelong Learning: Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technology and trends.
