This role oversees daily activities of a jobsite, managing subcontractors and labor for distribution center construction projects. As a key leader, you will ensure the work is performed in a safe and organized manner, complying with quality programs and initial specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement safety policies and quality programs to maintain strong performance on safety audits.
* Manage subcontractors, vendors, and labor, maintaining control over accuracy and quality for each work activity.
* Identify and report problems or deficiencies to the Project Manager.
* Maintain project schedule controls and coordinate receipt of Owner supplied materials.
* Provide status reports and communicate effectively with the Owner's representative.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A minimum of five years of construction experience as a Superintendent.
* The ability to travel extensively and temporarily reside at the project site.
* Capability of maintaining a Critical Path project schedule.
* A thorough understanding of current project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications, and related items.
