Roster: 4 Days / 3 Off Perth FIFO
Key Responsibilities
* Provide input into mine planning processes to ensure practicality of HME test plans in active mining area.
* Provide visible Fortescue Values leadership (lead by example) modelling and compliance with Fortescue Code of Conduct behaviours.
* Provide and maintain safe systems of work in mining operational areas.
* Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents and provide effective feedback to work teams.
* Coach, mentor and develop personnel in a small project team
* Manage short interval control process to drive Supervisor compliance to the mine plan.
* Ensure compliance with HR management policies and procedures (leave, injury management, performance, etc.)
Qualifications and Experience
* WA Class HR Driver's Licence
* Mine engineering degree or strong mine planning exposure
* 2 years supervision in large scale mining environment
* Ability to interpret and deliver to 24-hour and 2-week mine test plans for HME prototypes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, BMS or similar data and reporting systems
* Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs
* Unrestricted Quarry Manager's Ticket (desired not essential)
* Completed Mod 6 training and the ability to operate in an AOZ
