About the business and the role
Required for full time work 5 days a week, experienced in council civil and maintenance work including all areas of concreting, such as footpaths, crossovers, kerb and channel, etc.
Be able to work unsupervised and in a team, have own transport and white card.
Job tasks and responsibilities
* Concrete base preparation including removing existing concrete, removing tree roots, etc.
* Leveling crushed rock and form work
* Steel fixing
* Laying and finishing all facets of concrete
* Traffic management
* Site set up and clean up and topdressing
* Any other activities required to carry out all associated work
Skills and experience
Particular strengths we are looking for are:
* Reliability
* 2+ years' experience on civil maintenance sites
* Proactive with required tasks
* Experience using battery & power tools
* Australian full time working rights
* A willingness to always learn
* A genuine positive attitude
* Experience on civil construction sites
* Excellent eye for detail
* Excellent manner with clients
* Fully valid Driver's license
