We are currently seeking a qualified **Electrical Overhead Crane Technician**, to join our Cranes and Liftings Team in Perth, WA, primarily servicing a major Defence client.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Carrying out installations, inspections, maintenance, and commissioning of overhead electric cranes and hoists
- Conducting routine and corrective crane maintenance
- Performing troubleshooting and fault-finding of crane systems
- Preparing detailed crane condition checklists and site service reports
- Surveying/scoping up crane maintenance activities to identify labor, materials, and equipment required for the execution
- Replacement of crane components, i.e. hooks, wire ropes, motors, brakes, limit switches, load monitoring systems, etc.

**Skills, qualifications, and experience**
To qualify for this role, the following are **mandatory** requirements:
- Australian-recognized Electrical Trade Certificate
- 'A' Grade Electrical Trade License
- Australian Driver's license
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Work Safely At Heights
- WP High-Risk Work Licence
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have 5 years of experience as an overhead crane technician
- Possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in using a computer
- Lead by example and demonstrate a second-to-none commitment to safety and excellence
- Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Be able to pass a National Police clearance
