**Job Overview**
The Head of Construction will lead the strategic planning, design and delivery of restaurant builds, upgrades and refurbishments across corporate and franchise sites.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Oversee end-to-end restaurant construction projects, meeting timelines and brand standards
* Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors and certifiers to ensure project success
* Manage construction pipelines, schedules, risks and updates to senior leadership
* Drive cost planning, tendering and contract negotiations for optimal results
* Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (WHS) regulations and relevant building codes
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes
* Manage post-completion warranty issues and seamless handovers to operations teams
**Requirements**
* Possess tertiary qualifications in a field such as Construction Management, Project Management or Civil Engineering
* Hold at least 7 years' experience in a senior construction leadership role, preferably within the QSR, retail or hospitality sectors
* Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering multi-site build programs
* Show strong commercial acumen in contracts, procurement and budgeting
* Display a hands-on leadership style with excellent stakeholder management skills
* Possess WHS certification and strong regulatory knowledge
