Our client, one of Australia's leading manufacturers of roll-formed steel building products, has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to join their well-established team on a casual basis in Maddington.Hours: 6:00 am – 2:06 pm, Monday – Friday.Hourly rate: $***** (inclusive of 25 % casual loading).
ResponsibilitiesManual handling of sheet-metal products, 1–3 m in length, not overly heavy but potentially awkward.Products can include flashings, cladding, steel coils.Will receive training in using an overhead crane to load steel coils onto machines.Offside machine – manually remove products from end of production line and place into racking/storage.Ensure machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, are well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output.QualificationsExperience as a machine operator.Experience within steel/metal distribution or manufacturing (desirable).
