Your role will include:
1. Liaising with clients, other lawyers, counsel and colleagues
2. Advising and negotiating on complex property & financial settlements, parenting arrangements, financial agreements and child support agreements
3. Court attendances and briefing Counsel
4. Preparation for and attendances at mediations
5. Leading, supporting and developing a team
What You Need to excel in this role:
1. Minimum 3+ years’ experience in family law (Family Accreditation is favorably looked upon) and be located in Melbourne.
2. A thirst for knowledge and a growth mindset
3. To be able to manage time and prioritise work tasks effectively and independently
4. Be client-focused & competent in providing advice and representation
5. Strong attention to detail and be professionally presented
6. Ability to lead and motivate a team
7. In-depth understanding of Family Law and procedures
Competitive salary packages (based upon experience) $140,000 - $190,000, plus structured bonuses are on offer to secure the right candidates.
