As a Foundation Skills Teacher you'll be at the heart of transforming students' lives by equipping them with crucial academic and vocational skills. Imagine guiding learners through Literacy and Numeracy Support, delivering contextualised literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, and watching them build a robust foundation for their future success—whether in further education or the workplace.
You will work alongside industry trainers to support learners on their journey.

About You
Skills & Experience
Your values align to ours - Integrity + Respect, Community + Collaboration and Creativity + Innovation.
* Bachelor of Education, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Education, or higher. This may include qualifications relating to TESOL, adult education or vocational education.
* Current Teaching qualification in accordance with the Victorian TAFE Association, or willingness to obtain.
* Current Victorian Working with Children Check or current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
* Ability to research, develop and improve TAFE curriculum and teaching and learning method.
* Leadership, mentoring, project and or research skills.
