Launch Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Trading Operations Specialist to join a fast paced and dynamic Trading Ops team. This is a critical role that directly impacts our trading environment and client experience.
You will be responsible for platform administration, price monitoring, liquidity management, and trading bridge operations, ensuring our clients consistently receive the competitive pricing and superior trading conditions that define the market.
Reporting directly to the Head of Market Risk, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding our trading infrastructure while driving operational excellence across all trading functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise the effective functions of core trading products across multiple platforms
* Maintain, monitor, and expand trading infrastructure including trading platforms, bridges, and product offerings
* Ensure seamless operation of trading systems with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
* Lead the onboarding process for new liquidity partners, ensuring smooth integration
* Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements, cost optimization, and operational efficiency improvements
* Oversee Tier 2 Support function for complex trade investigations and client escalations
Required Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 5+ years in CFD brokerage or broader financial services industry, with demonstrated expertise in trading operations
* Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience managing multiple trading platforms like MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXTrade, TradingView, or other industry-standard platforms
* Liquidity Technology: Proven experience operating Liquidity Hub Technology (OneZero Hub strongly preferred, FXCubic, primeXM, or similar systems)
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of trading bridges, price feeds, execution models, and order routing
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex trading data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with technical teams, management, and external partners
* Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities with a methodical approach to resolving complex operational issues
Good to Have
* Experience with Forex/CFD broker CRM systems (FXBO, Skale, or similar)
* Knowledge of FIX protocol and API integrations
* Understanding of risk management principles in CFD/Forex trading
* Programming or scripting knowledge (Python, SQL, or similar)
