**Salary Range $96,640 to $108,020 per annum + 10.5% Super + RDO**

**The Opportunity**
At the Melton City Council, we strive to create a vibrant and liveable city accessible to all. The Innovation & Transformation department contributes to this vision by transforming Melton City Council service delivery to achieve operational excellence, build community trust and enhancing citizen experience when engaging with council services.
As the IT project manager within the Digital Citizen Experience team, you will lead the implementation of citizen-facing digital initiatives. Reporting directly to the Digital Citizen Experience Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. As part of Melton Councils first Development Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning our team from using traditional waterfall project delivery methodologies to new agile ways of working.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the team to develop project plans, cost estimates and identify resource requirements for individual projects.
- Monitor IT project and related organisational risks, take remediation actions or escalate where required and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including vendors, realise approaches to quality, risk communication, knowledge, change control, and manage the project on all its performance parameters.
- Report on the performance of projects and assist the product/project owner in the project's governance.
