The Role: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic maintenance team.
You will play a key role in keeping our plant running smoothly by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment.
This is a hands on role that offers exposure to advanced machinery in a fast paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and fixed plant machinery.
Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime.
Conduct preventative maintenance as per schedules.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
Comply with all workplace health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Skills Experience: Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent).
Experience in a food manufacturing or fast moving production environment is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Proactive, hands-on approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
