Registered Pharmacist – Multiple Positions

Due to expansion of services and growth we are filling multiple full time Pharmacist positions in Darwin, Katherine, Gove and Maningrida in the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Using evidence based practices, counsel customers on both prescription and over the counter medications relative to their medical conditions
Provide pharmacy services to a high skilled standard
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local health professionals
Deliver culturally sensitive practices in daily interactions, particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Contribute to the positive and friendly atmosphere of the pharmacy
Dependent on experience, supervise, and coach intern pharmacists
8CPA claiming
Ensure compliance with QCPP policy and procedures
Contribute to a collaborative workplace, working closely with Regional Operations Managers, State Managers and Chief Pharmacist.

Full Working Rights in Australia
Current, full (unrestricted) registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
Internship must be completed
Experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting
Willingness to undertake professional development opportunities
Demonstrated clinical competence and confidence, with the ability to exercise sound professional judgement
Strong understanding of the health issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities an advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully with culturally diverse patients and colleagues
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including attending team meetings
High level of attention to detail and strong skills in medication safety, reconciliation and error checking
Immunisation accreditation in accordance with state/territory guidelines, or willingness to complete
Completion of ‘Deadly Pharmacists Foundation Training’ with Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or similar cultural safety training, or willingness to complete
