Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays a critical part in embedding strong commercial governance, uplifting capability, and driving profitability across our operations nationally.As a trusted partner to senior leaders and project teams, you'll provide expertise in contract management, risk mitigation, and financial performance, ensuring we deliver sustainable growth and value for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, implementation and embedment of a national commercial risk and governance frameworkOversee contract lifecycle management, including negotiation of major contracts, joint ventures, and complex agreementsProvide leadership on insurance, compliance, and financial risk managementDrive financial performance through standardized project controls, cost tracking, and accurate forecasting Collaborate with operations, tendering, and business development teams to strengthen profitability and project outcomesChampion operational excellence by embedding "One Company Way" tools, processes, and reporting across the organisationMentor and support regional teams to build commercial capability and confidence in decision makingKey Selection CriteriaTertiary qualifications in Finance or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)Extensive senior commercial management experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure services ideally, or other industrial industryProven success managing large-scale projects ($100M+), complex contract models (eg: TOCC, Joint Ventures, Alliances), and governance frameworksStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to partner across all levels of an organisationA track record of mentoring, educating, and building capability within project and operational teamsExperience implementing ERP or project management systems (e.g., InEight, SAP, Oracle) is desirable but not essentialOur TeamAt Interflow, we are honest, reliable, competent and respectful.
