Trainee Quality Assurance & Food Safety Assessor
The Casino Food Company is a leading export food processor with production facilities located in Casino and Booyong, near Lismore, in the Northern Rivers area of the NSW Far North Coast.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Quality Assurance Assessor (QAA) to join the team in our Quality Assurance department. QAA's report to the Quality Assurance Manager and form a key part of the frontline team ensuring quality assurance processes are met.
Responsibilities
* Monitor/inspect departments against the Approved Arrangement and liaise with departmental staff and Supervisors to address non-conformances
* Liaise with production Supervisors to ensure departmental compliance
Qualifications
* Sound knowledge of computers and applications
* Knowledge of Quality Assurance terminology, policies and regulatory standards
* Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good hygiene practices (GHP)
* Organisation and attention to detail
* Ability to work with minimal direction
* Enjoys challenges and thrives in finding positive outcomes
* Willingness to complete a Certificate IV in Quality Assurance (If not already completed)
