Senior One Identity Application & Services Developer
Location: ACT (Onsite - Canberra)
Contract: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extensions
* Australian Citizenship is mandatory
* NV1 security clearance (or ability to obtain)
An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior One Identity Application and Systems Developer to join a large federal government environment. This role focuses on enhancing and extending an enterprise One Identity Manager (OneIM) platform, delivering improved identity governance, access management and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build and enhance services within One Identity Manager, supporting identity lifecycle management and RBAC capabilities.
* Develop in-product customisations including value templates, condition scripts and process tasks using VB.NET.
* Build and maintain custom web portal extensions using Angular and TypeScript.
* Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems including HR systems, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange using .NET, APIs and web services.
* Enhance machine account management and expand system integrations to improve access governance coverage.
* Produce complex reports, dashboards and audit artefacts to support compliance and governance requirements.
* Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, testing and controlled deployment into production.
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyse IAM/IGA requirements and deliver structured enhancements.
* Mentor and support less experienced IAM specialists, contributing to knowledge sharing and capability uplift.
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong hands-on experience with One Identity Manager, including architecture, object model and configuration.
* Proven development and integration experience within an IGA platform.
* Deep understanding of IAM security governance, including segregation of duties, access certification, privileged access, audit and compliance.
* Knowledge of Australian Government security frameworks including the ISM, PSPF and ASD Essential Eight.
* Demonstrated experience delivering enhancements within a complex enterprise IAM environment.
