What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of containers and household goods throughout our warehouse and yard. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the daily in‐and‐out movements of containers
* Ensuring accurate placement and tracking of containers within the yard
* Actively supporting storage, handling, and inventory of personal household goods
* Preparing the next day's scheduled work—including containers, paperwork, and required documentation
* Upholding strict safety and traffic management procedures when handling and stacking containers
* Accurately receipting inbound goods from suppliers and operational crews
Every day will bring a mix of operational focus, problem‐solving, and teamwork.
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who brings energy, initiative, and a 'can‐do' mindset. You'll take pride in maintaining a well‐organised, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* A valid forklift licence
* Experience operating a forklift fitted with a spreader
* Previous experience in household goods warehousing or similar environments
* A proactive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
* Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
* High attention to detail and strong time‐management capabilities
