The Role: Maintenance Manager - Simulation
Join a dynamic team maintaining advanced Collins Submarine Simulators at HMAS Stirling, WA. As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee operations and maintenance of two critical simulators supporting Navy training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage simulator maintenance and site operations.
* Ensure compliance with manufacturer and customer standards.
* Lead, train, and develop a small team.
* Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
* Monitor and manage personnel performance and site compliance.
* Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
* Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues.
Your Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
* Qualification in electronics, IT, or similar.
* Leadership experience in a high-tech environment.
* Team leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Experience managing site team members to achieve key responsibilities.
* Willingness to travel interstate infrequently (2-3 times/year) for meetings or training.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical supervisor in an operational or workshop environment.
Highly Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience in simulation or technical maintenance environments.
* Navy experience.
* Experience in training environments.
