About the role
This full-time Fit Off Carpenter position at Superior Granny Flats' in Underwood, QLD offers a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading company in the Carpentry & Cabinet Making industry. As the Fit Off Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the final stages of the construction process, ensuring the exceptional quality and finish of our high-end granny flats.
What you'll be doing
* Accurately measuring, cutting, and installing internal fixtures and fittings, such as doors, skirting boards, and trims
* Assembling and installing cabinetry, such as kitchen units, wardrobes, and vanities
* Completing detailed finish carpentry work to the highest standard
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with building codes, plans, and company quality standards
* Collaborating with the construction team to resolve any issues and maintain project timelines
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
What we're looking for
* Completed apprenticeship in Carpentry or a related trade
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Fit Off Carpenter or in a similar role
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
