* Secure and report on a sales pipeline, including new and existing clients, through proactive identification of business opportunities.
* Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships to provide exceptional customer service.
* Promote the marketing of the company's product and services portfolio.
* Provide responsive and effective problem-solving skills to build a loyal customer base and achieve set targets.
* Negotiate regular business proposals.
* Anticipate project demand requirements and communicate effectively to deliver results.
About you:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Business Development Role.
* Ability to leverage multiple channels, including face-to-face, phone, and digital communication.
* Influence to create valuable and impactful business/client connections that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Desire to utilise the full product portfolio across an assigned territory.
* Strong business acumen with a focus on execution of business plans and ability to pivot and share best practices.
* Enthusiasm to gain and take market share from competitors.
* Commitment to service excellence and consistent personalised customer experience.
* Established computer literacy.
* Flexibility to work outside typical business hours, as required.

Desirable qualities include:
* Background in trade or paint industry.
* Tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
