Key Administrative Assistant Role
The primary objective of this position is to manage daily data entry into financial management systems, maintain organisational filing and document control, and ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative support involves the accurate and timely completion of daily data entry tasks into financial management software, including invoicing, receipts, purchase orders, job costing, and expense tracking.
* Maintain a digital filing system that ensures organised and easily accessible financial records, adhering to company standards and protocols.
* Assist with accounts reconciliations and general accounting administration, providing support for month-end preparation and basic reporting.
* Update spreadsheets, registers, and internal data systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
* Collaborate with the office team to provide administrative support, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. A background in finance or accounting is highly desirable, as well as experience with Xero or similar financial management software.
