Responsibilities
* Provide geotechnical support and assistance to the operation.
* Carry out geotechnical evaluations, risk assessments and make geotechnical recommendations.
* Plan and execute scheduled component changeouts (PCR work).
* Perform servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections.
* Analyse rebuild projects and develop plans for successful outcomes.
* Prepare accurate scopes of work, estimates and quotations.
* Communicate effectively with cross‐shift teams, maintenance and team members.
* Identify, report and rectify risks associated with exposure to anything hazardous.
* Directly control, manage and supervise operational and technical services.
* Prepare forecasts and develop mining strategy with support from management.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong working relationships.
* Manage work‐in‐progress processes to support operational efficiency.
* Develop and deliver internal and external communications materials, including newsletters.
* Design high‐quality communication collateral using tools such as InDesign.
* Operate mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently.
* Commit to zero‐harm behaviours at 100% safety level.
* Drive new business by proactively identifying, engaging and converting crushing opportunities.
* Coordinate customer requirements with Sales, Planning, Production and other stakeholders.
* Generate bar, cutting and bending lists from structural calculations.
* Participate in site works and supervise daily activities.
* Support ongoing learning and development opportunities.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
* At least 5 years underground mining engineering experience, particularly within narrow vein mining.
* Experience in processing, gold room operations, permits and isolation procedures.
* Trade qualifications relevant to role requirements (Certificate III, etc.).
* Full working rights in Australia (permanent resident or citizen).
* Relevant ticket or qualification for operating heavy equipment (if applicable).
