Project Lead Role
This role involves overseeing the planning, organisation and control of project aspects. You will be responsible for managing the project team in terms of financial, program and safety matters to ensure that all necessary resources are available to complete the project while optimising profit margins.
The Key Responsibilities
* Manage tasks in line with project requirements
* Coordinate scope changes effectively
* Engage key contractors for successful project delivery
* Develop and implement project delivery programmes
* Create cash flow forecasts and project budgets
* Coordinate labour needs in conjunction with Labour Managers
* Report on project status and attend client meetings
* Document and administer projects throughout their lifecycle
* Reconcile project invoices against budgets
* Built strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
* Support business growth initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related field
* A minimum 5 years' experience in project management in a commercial construction environment
* Proven ability to coordinate multiple contractors and trades
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Able to problem-solve and think critically
* A high level of attention to detail
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work independently
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam, with the ability to create construction programmes
