Where you will call home
Regis Redlynch is situated at the entrance to the Redlynch Valley with the beach only a 12-minute drive away. Centrally located in a quiet residential precinct of Cairns, Regis Redlynch is accessible by public transport with easy access to shops, restaurants, cafes, Redlynch Shopping Centre and Redlynch Medical Centre
The important role you will play
* Answering all telephone enquiries day
* Maintain files and documentation
* General administration and data entry
* Stationery ordering and petty cash management
* Assisting with staff rosters and training schedules
* Ensure efficient operation of the front reception area
* Assisting with visitor enquiries and conducting home tours
* Administrative support for other departments of the home
What you will bring to the role
* Previous experience working in a busy reception role
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in an autonomous capacity
* Strong accuracy and data entry skills
* PC literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
* Ability to learn internal software systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Outstanding communication, telephone and customer service skills
* Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment
* Bright and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to assist with all customer and resident enquiries
