About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of construction projects. This role is based in Canberra and involves managing project teams, subcontractors, clients, and key stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.
Key responsibilities:
* Review design documentation, drawings, and specifications.
* Support procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors based on project needs.
* Prepare site reports, progress updates, and variation inputs.
* Use software such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and related tools for construction planning, execution and reporting.
* Effective management of time, cost, safety with quality assurance.
Qualifications:
* A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Construction Management or Project Management, Engineering or Architecture.
* Minimum 1 year of project management experience.
* Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
* Good communication and team-work skills.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English.
* Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client.
