Proven experience across the full ServiceNow development lifecycle, including requirements refinement, solution design, build, testing, deployment and post-implementation support. Strong skills in ServiceNow scripting and development technologies, including JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Flow Designer. Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, web services and authentication mechanisms.Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification..Desirable SkillsExperience delivering solutions across ITSM, HRSD and/or CSM within medium to large organisations. Experience supporting platform maintenance activities, including upgrades, patching, defect resolution, monitoring and performance optimisation. Familiarity with ITIL or service management frameworks and their practical application within ServiceNow. Experience working within Australian Government, regulated or security-sensitive ICT environments. Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments..ResponsibilitiesThe ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on technical development across the AEC’s ServiceNow platform to support critical digital and service delivery outcomes. The role requires strong, proven experience in ServiceNow configuration and custom development, with responsibility for designing, building, enhancing and supporting solutions across one or more ServiceNow products, including IT Service Management (ITSM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) and Customer Service Management (CSM).
Working within an agile delivery team, the ServiceNow Developer will contribute across the full development lifecycle, including requirements refinement, solution design, build, testing, deployment and post-implementation support, and will work closely with product owners, business analysts, architects and operational teams to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions.
