Your new role
As an Assistant Financial Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate and timely financial performance monitoring, reporting, and analysis. You will assist with budget development and forecasting, deliver expert operational financial advice, and support decision-making processes. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and analysing financial reports to identify variances and recommend corrective strategies.
* Assisting with budget development, forecasting, and monitoring processes.
* Providing financial modelling and scenario-based analysis to support initiatives and capital investment strategies.
* Contributing to business cases and strategic planning processes.
* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective financial governance.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting within a large organisation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
* Knowledge of financial management principles and compliance requirements.
