The Role
Tasmanian bridge construction projects require a strong team player with experience in civil engineering. As a key member of our precast construction team, you will be responsible for the delivery of bridge construction projects throughout Tasmania and interstate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute jobs to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
2. Manage onsite Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) initiatives, including inductions, site records, and quality control.
3. Coordinate material ordering from suppliers and arrange sub-contractors as needed.
4. Lead and manage staff while promoting knowledge sharing among team members.
You Will Be Successful In This Role If You Have:
1. Demonstrated ability in bridge building and related construction methods.
2. Strong understanding of construction drawings and programs.
3. Experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators.
4. Piling experience and medium rigid truck license.
5. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
