**The Role**
- Operate and maintain a Technical Publication Library service consisting of paper and electronic document formats for AAvnTC
- Manage the issue of Data and Electronic Device Reader (EDR) to individuals, sub-units, and sections within AAvnTC
- Provide operator training for holders of EDR devices within AAvnTC when requested,
- Provide training to unit APS TPOs for on-going management of the Defence EFB system
- Provide Subject matter expert advice to EDR users
- Provide support to the Army Aviation goal to transition Data to digital platforms by working to reduce paper based holdings and replacing with EDR wherever possible
**About our Team**
The Technical Data Officer /Electronic Flight Bag Manager (TDO EFB) resides within AAvnTC Operational Airworthiness (OPAW) section under the supervision of the SO2 OPAW.
The Army Aviation Training Centre (AAvnTC) OPAW section ensures the management of Orders, Instructions and Procedures (OIP) content. OIP is the primary means of communicating and distributing operating, maintenance and regulatory information to the workforce. Its management is a key enabler in order to maintain compliance within the Operations Airworthiness (OPAW) regulatory framework.
The OIP content is hosted on the Aviation Digitalised OIP content management System (AVDOCS) platforms or through the delivery of hardcopy technical Data which are maintained and available to aircrew and other stakeholders within AAvnTC. This ensures safe and reliable operations.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to produce outcomes with mínimal direction and supervision;
- Well-developed skills with the Microsoft Office suite of software (including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
