Op Shop Volunteer Coordinator

Support prospective Op Shop volunteers through a timely and consistent application process, including processing applications, maintaining records, and liaising with Op Shop Managers.

Work Details

This is a maximum‐term (12 months) full‐time role, working Monday to Friday. The total hours are 76 hours per fortnight.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Op Shops to understand their volunteer needs.
• Support onboarding and training for volunteers from the Brunswick hub.
• Provide efficient and effective support through application processing and record maintenance.
• Assist in strategy development and creative initiatives for Op Shops.
• Coordinate volunteer activities and maintain excellent working relationships across sites.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or demonstrated experience in coordinating volunteer, consumer, or employee programs.
• Confidence to work autonomously and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong relationship‐building skills at the site and across our Op Shops.
