The position is for an entry-level, full-time officer who will protect millions of passengers, staff and the public on the country's rail network.
Responsibilities
Visible patrolling and response to emergencies on the UK rail network.
Conducting criminal investigations and gathering intelligence.
Providing public reassurance and building trust with local communities.
Tackling serious and organised crime, graffiti and theft.
Supporting other policing duties as required.

Eligibility
You must be willing to work in one of the listed locations.
You must meet the following conditions:
Not have been unsuccessful in a BTP Police Officer or Special Constable interview within the last 6 months.
Not have been unsuccessful in a Police Officer, Special Constable or PCSO application or online ability test within the last 6 months.
Not have been unsuccessful in BTP vetting checks within the last 12 months.
No custodial sentence or relevant criminal record that would bar employment.
No prior dismissal from another force or current live investigation.
No declared bankruptcy, CCJ or unmanaged IVA.
No offensive tattoos that could be a concern; face and neck tattoos evaluated case-by-case.
Permanent right to live and work in the UK and at least 3 years of consistent residency.
