About the Role
The position requires a skilled Clinical Nurse to provide specialist clinical cancer nursing practice to women diagnosed with breast cancer across the continuum of care.
The successful candidate will have comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of complex patient care to achieve best practice quality care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist clinical cancer nursing practice to women diagnosed with breast cancer.
* Work under the clinical direction of the Nurse Unit Manager and with members of the multidisciplinary team to provide coordination and quality cancer care.
Requirements
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
* Oncology Nursing Qualification/Experience or commitment to completing qualification in Breast Care Nursing would be considered highly desirable.
