Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) – [Ringwood East]

Permanent part‐time role based in Ringwood East. Support customers to achieve their daily goals and build independence through a person‐centred approach.
* Fortnightly hours: FN1 – 51.25 hours | FN2 – 49 hours (in line with the roster below)
* Support a diverse range of customers, including people with disability, behaviours of concern (BOC), epilepsy, and catheter care needs, using safe and confident approaches
* A full Victorian driver's licence is essential for this role
* Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent) is highly desirable
* Must be available to work all shifts outlined in the roster
As a Disability Support Worker, you will work with a team on and off‐site of specialists with one common purpose – to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:
* Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
* NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children Check (Employee)
* Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years.
