Bricklayer Job Responsibilities: Lay bricks, pre-cut stone, concrete blocks, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, patios, arches, and other structures Read and interpret architectural plans to determine the layout of the structure being built Measure and cut materials to ensure they fit properly and meet project specifications Use various hand and power tools to cut, align, and set bricks and blocks in place Ensure that work meets quality and safety standards Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project progress Essential Qualifications: Recent full-time experience in this line of work.
