Job Description:
We are seeking an applicant who possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of food safety regulations and principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with food safety assessments and complaints investigations;
* Process applications and implement the sampling program and education program;
* Plan and deliver community outreach activities.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
* Hold a recognized tertiary qualification in Environmental Health or a related field;
* Have evidence of satisfactory completion of microbiology, food safety, and food science units;
* Possess sound knowledge and understanding of the Food Act and risk management principles and practices;
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
