Project Support Officer Role
This role involves playing a key part in the delivery of Council's capital works program.
The successful candidate will work closely with designers, project managers, engineers and the Coordinator Program Management to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, transparently and in line with Council's procurement and project management frameworks.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth operation of the Project Management Office
* Work on various projects across different departments
* Develop strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
Requirements:
* Experience working with computer-based systems particularly in relation to purchasing functions and project management systems
* Intermediate knowledge of MS WORD and ability to format large complex documents
* Good communication, negotiation, planning and time management skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of procurement and contractual practices, processes standards and legislation and recognition of how they relate to working within a Government environment
